Men när ska PC veteranerna få sitt Battlefield 3 som de förtjänar?

There's not much to go on this story at this point, but that doesn't matter. Hardcore Battlefield fans will be relieved to hear that a proper Battlefield sequel -- Battlefield 3 -- is in the works at DICE.

 

Electronic Arts chief operating officer John Pleasants revealed the news at the William Blair Growth Stock Conference, reports The Feed. "I've had the luxury of looking at Battlefield 3 over at DICE in Sweden and was highly impressed by the way the team is working on that product," he said. "Of course, that's not [coming out] in the fiscal year, but that is a product that is looking very good." EA's fiscal year runs through the end of March 2010, meaning we won't see the game until April 2010 at the very earliest.

 

A number of Battlefield titles have been announced or released since the release of the last two core titles in the series, Battlefield 2 (pictured above) and the subsequent Battlefield 2142, none of which have been accepted by the PC Battlefield crowd as a true successor. We've heard rumblings about Battlefield 3 in the past, and DICE has said that it hasn't completely abandoned the PC roots of the series. The upcoming Battlefield 1943 seemed like an indication of that, and now the confirmation of a real Battlefield 3 should ease fans' worries that the Battlefield franchise was devoting itself to being entirely console-centric.

 

We have also gotten information from a tipster that Battlefield 3 will be similar to Battlefield 2 and will support up to 40 players per team. There will also be 24 different vehicles that you can choose from and 17 different weapons. Like Battlefield 2, the game will also feature unlockable equipment.

 

So when will Battlefield 3 be released? The time isn't known but EA says not this year. We also heard that it would be the holiday season in 2010, however like with many of the other Battle field installments we'll probably get an early one map beta that can be played free a few months before. We're speculating that we'll see a Battlefield 3 Beta download in the Summer of 2010. However, nobody knows for sure.

Idd, det är ganska lame annars. Men det går väl att lira singleplay i bf2?

Dom sattsar på Singleplayer via Bad Company spelen.

Och sattsar nog mer på Multiplayer bara i BF3.

BF2 hade sämst SP,16 bot på en 16 map -_- och inte ens på alla banor.

 

man borde kunnat spela med 64 bots på en 64 map utan att ladda ner en mod iaf.
